A Leading Cost & Engineering Consultancy is looking for Senior Quantity Surveyors to join their team based in the North West and Cumbria.

The main objective of the role is to deliver commercial and contract management services to market leading regulated clients in the region.

You will:

  • Deliver contract management throughout the lifecycle of client’s construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Advise client Project Managers on NEC contractual matters.
  • Lead the post contract administration of NEC contracts, early warnings, compensation events and defects for live projects.
  • Lead the pre contract creation of NEC contracts, tendering documentation and procurement strategies for new projects.
  • Monitor and report on the commercial position for your projects.
  • Support Associate Directors to ensure that your client receives a first class service.
  • Ensure projects are compliant with contractual terms and achieves the client’s objectives.

Further Details

Providing commercial expertise to a portfolio of leading regulated utilities and nuclear clients who are currently delivering a major projects in the North West and Cumbria.

Projects include utilities infrastructure upgrade works, general civil engineering works, and elements of new build construction works.

You will be embedded within the client team, focusing on providing pre and post management of NEC contracts including delivering the full scope of change activities.

Candidate Requirements

Our client is looking for Senior Quantity Surveyors looking for a career move. They are also keen to speak with experienced Quantity Surveyors looking for career progression.

You will have experience of delivering NEC contracts, and in particular of managing early warnings, compensation events and defects for live projects.

Must have client facing experience with the ability to offer advice and guidance to senior stakeholders on complex commercial matters.

Relevant quantity surveying or commercial management degree.
