A leading infrastructure contractor is looking for Quantity Surveyors to join their team across various sites in Buckinghamshire.

The main objective of the role is to deliver the commercial requirements for a portfolio of civil engineering works as part of a section of a major infrastructure project.

Key duties will include:

  • Tender pricing, risk assessments and contract drafting and negotiations.
  • Cost / Value reconciliations.
  • Bottom Up and End Life Cost Reporting.
  • Cash management.
  • Subcontract account management and payment.
  • Contractual administration including but not limited to, early warning and compensation event process.
  • Dispute management.
  • Managing client relationships.
  • Contributing to project performance discussions, providing commercial input to project strategy.

Further Details

Assisting with the delivery of a portfolio of civil engineering works covering a section of a major national infrastructure project.

The scope of works includes viaducts, green tunnels, road diversions, bridges, and excavation works.

Reporting into a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager you will be delivering the end-to-end commercial processes and procedures for projects.

Candidate Requirements

Our client is looking for Quantity Surveyors looking for a career move. They are also keen to see experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyors looking for career progression.

Minimum of 2 years' experience delivering the commercial requirements for civil engineering projects within an infrastructure environment.

Demonstrable track record of delivering successful commercial outcomes on projects that you have worked on.

Experience of working with and managing NEC forms of contract.

Relevant quantity surveying degree.
