Group Supply Chain Manager

A leading utilities contractor is looking for a Group Supply Chain Manager to join their team in Leeds to help develop and implement a procurement strategy for their frameworks business unit, you will;

• Setup frameworks for key direct material categories that support national projects.
• Manage and improve supplier relationships.
• Monitor market trends, industry developments, and supplier performance metrics.
• Drive cost savings and efficiency improvements across the procurement function.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the Head of Procurement with implementing new technology systems and improving procurement processes.

Responsible for delivering procurement strategies major and minor utility projects across the UK.

Support the Head of Procurement with implementing new technology systems and improving procurement processes.

Minimum of 3+ year’s strategy procurement experience for a main contractor or subcontractor.

Must have a track record or successfully delivering project procurement or category management strategies.

Highly resilient, with gravitas and strength of character to ensure strategies are successfully delivered.
