Procurement Manager

A leading infrastructure contractor is looking for a Procurement Manager to implement a procurement strategy for a major nuclear project, you will:

• Implement the project procurement strategy for a major nuclear project.
• Define, develop, and implement the subcontractor procurement strategy.
• Lead end to end tendering for major subcontract packages.
• Setup bulk material frameworks.
• Build close working relationships with commercial and operational teams.
• Ensure project cost savings, rebates and compliance targets are achieved.

Working as part of a joint venture, you will lead the procurement for a high-profile nuclear project in Somerset.

You will create individual package strategies for various civil and MEP subcontract trades.

Our client is looking for candidates with 10+ years subcontract procurement experience.

You will currently be working as an experience Procurement Manager for a large main contractor.

You will have strong infrastructure or MEP project experience, supporting the delivery of procurement strategies for £100m+ projects, any major building project experience would also be considered.

You will have end to end subcontract procurement experience, leading commercial and operational teams, with a track record of creating project procurement strategies.
