A leading utility contractor is looking for two Group Supply Chain Managers for two separate business units in Manchester and Watford to help develop and implement a procurement strategy, you will;

• Setup frameworks for key direct material categories that support national projects
• Manage and improve supplier relationships
• Monitor market trends, industry developments, and supplier performance metrics
• Drive cost savings and efficiency improvements across the procurement function
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
• Support the Head of Procurement with implementing new technology systems and improving procurement processes

Responsible for delivering procurement strategies major and minor utility projects across the uk

Minimum of 3+ year’s strategy procurement experience for a main contractor or subcontractor

Must have a track record or successfully delivering project procurement or category management strategies

Highly resilient, with gravitas and strength of character to ensure strategies are
successfully delivered
