Assistant Buyer

A leading utility contractor is looking for an Assistant Buyer to support the operational buying requirements for a major power and utility projects, you will:

• Assist with operational buying of material and service requirements for a major utility projects
• Ensure projects receive material orders to the required quality, cost and delivery expectations
• Support operational teams with day to day challenges on contracts
• Maximise the use of framework agreements to ensure savings and rebates are achieved

Support on a variety of power, utility and civils projects across the south east

You will be managing a large portfolio of data, helping produce reports and market trends in the market

Our client is looking for Procurement Admin or Assistant Buyers with 1+ years materials procurement experience from any contractor or subcontractor.

You will have some materials procurement experience, with a track record of delivering internal stakeholder requirements for projects.

You will have helped to deliver projects across infrastructure, construction or MEP for any reputable contractor.
