A Leading Infrastructure Contractor is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to create a supply chain strategy for a newly won utilities framework.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high profile, top 10 infrastructure contractor, who has recently hired a new Procurement & Supply Chain Director.
You will create and deliver a new supply chain management strategy for a newly won framework.
This role is very strategic and highly visible within the company, you will gain strong exposure interfacing with senior manager and director level internal stakeholders.
Building relationship with the top 20% of their existing subcontractors, while sourcing and onboarding new subcontractors to meet social value requirements.
Support with major material capital equipment procurement with some of the biggest brands in the sector.
Helping to support the Head of Procurement & Supply chain with a functional change programme, following a department restructure.
Ideal candidates will currently be working as a Supply Chain or Procurement Manager or as a Senior Buyer with many years experience and ready for career progression.
Candidates must have at least 5 years experience managing any infrastructure or civil engineering related projects, for a reputable main contractor, tier 2 contractor or subcontractor.
Any utilities experience would be preferable, however they are also happy to see candidates with rail, highways, renewables or nuclear project experience.
Ideally you will have some experience of supply chain management, however they are also happy to look at a dynamic senior material buyers who is looking to develop their career into supply chain management.
