Managing Quantity Surveyor

A high profile prestigious plc are looking for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial requirements for a portfolio of projects as part of a major highways maintenance scheme, you will:

• Assist with the management of a small-medium sized commercial team.
• Work with the project team, the client, and the supply chain to deliver works within time and budget.
• Manage all commercial aspects of projects including forecasting, and providing input to monthly CVR, cost and commercial plans.
• Manage the end-to-end performance of NEC contracts.
• Ensure the supply chain are engaged appropriately in line with governance and contract T&Cs.

Responsible for a portfolio of works as part of a major highways maintenance scheme.

Works include network and asset management, routine maintenance, and lifecycle management (including street lighting, signage, road marking, and structures).

Providing mentorship to multiple Quantity Surveyors, as well as managing further commercial support staff.

• Minimum of 4 years' experience managing the commercial requirements for an infrastructure contractor or leading subcontractor.
• Must have experience of managing infrastructure projects. Any highways project experience is desirable, however not essential.
• Must have experience of managing NEC contracts end-to-end.
• Ideally you will currently be working as a Managing Quantity Surveyor, or experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who is looking for progression.
