Senior Quantity Surveyor & Quantity Surveyor

A leading infrastructure contractor is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor and a Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

The main objective of the role is to deliver the end-to-end commercial processes and requirements of a national utilities framework.

Key duties will include:

• Actively assist the Commercial Department and project team to maximise profit and reduce risk.
• Managing internal and external stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met effectively and efficiently and outcomes are achieved.
• Responsible for all subcontractor management, ensuring all subcontractors and suppliers are submitting compliant documentation within required timescales.
• Assisting project teams in the recovery of contract costs together with enhancing project profit by identifying variations, delays and claims.
• Assisting with the production of monthly reports and forecasts for projects to be analysed by financial and commercial stakeholders.

Supporting the delivery of a major national framework involving the upgrading and maintaining of utilities infrastructure for the client.

Projects based nationwide with locations ranging from the East Midlands down to the South Coast.

Managing and driving subcontractor performance on projects, and implementing actions as required.

Our client is looking for Senior Quantity Surveyors and Quantity Surveyors looking for a career move. They are also keen to see experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyors looking for career progression.

You will possess a strong commercial skillset, and have demonstrable experience or delivering or supporting the delivery of infrastructure or general civil engineering frameworks or projects.

Must have experience and strong understanding of standard forms of contract, NEC experience is desirable.

Proven ability of managing subcontractor relationships and performance, and of interfacing with stakeholders and clients.
