The main objective of the role is to deliver the procurement requirements for a portfolio of regional water and environmental framework projects.
You will:
You will be joining a very stable and highly profitable company, who are part of a top 10 national infrastructure contractor.
You will be joining a very stable procurement team that has a blend of experience and expertise, with established team members (some 10+ years) complimented by newer team members... this allows new team members to leverage existing industry expertise, while bringing a modern feel to the function.
You will be trained in how to deliver detailed subcontract procurement for civil engineering projects, this is a very sought-after skill and will make you a more rounded procurement professional.
Supporting the delivery of a portfolio of major regional water and environmental projects and frameworks valued at £100m+.
Procuring a broad range of civil engineering material and subcontract packages.
Our client is looking for Senior Buyers looking for a career move. They are also keen to speak to experienced Buyers who are looking for career progression.
You will have 5+ years' project procurement experience from any infrastructure or construction related sector.
Any subcontract experience is desirable but not essential as full training on this will be provided.
