Senior Buyer

A leading business services is looking for a senior buyer to help support with responsive works categories, duties will include:

• Supporting the Category Manager in developing a procurement strategy for the business
• Managing supplier and member contracts and analysing statistical and financial
  information
• Deliver tendering and other procurement processes in line with both departmental and category targets.
• Provide management direction and leadership to direct reports

Manage a range of categories from capital works to professional services for a major social housing framework.

Our client is looking for candidates with 3+ years procurement experience.

You will currently be working as a buyer looking for a step up, or senior buyer wanting a change from any public sector organisation with strong OJEU (Find a Tender) experience.
