Senior Buyer

A leading business services is looking for a Senior Buyer to help support with responsive works categories, duties will include:

• Supporting the Category Manager in developing a procurement strategy for the business.
• Managing a variety of planned and preventive maintenance categories.
• Delivering tendering and other procurement processes in line with both departmental and category targets.
• Providing management and direction to several junior buyers.

You will manage the materials and responsive works procurement for a major social housing framework.

You will lead a procurement team who manage £multi-million material spend per annum.

Our client is looking for candidates with 4+ years procurement experience.

You will currently be working as a Senior Buyer for a medium to large construction contractor.

Ideally you will have strong material experience however they are also happy to consider candidates with planned and preventive maintenance experience.
