A Leading Infrastructure Contractor is looking for a Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to deliver a number of contracts across the South East.
The main objective of the role is to support the Head of Procurement & Supply Chain in creating a new supply chain management function.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high profile, growing infrastructure contractor, who has recently hired a new Head of Procurement & Supply Chain.
In this newly created, greenfield role you will help create a new supply chain management function for the company.
This role is very strategic and visible within the company, you will gain strong exposure interfacing with senior manager and director level internal stakeholders.
Building relationships with the top 20% of the company's suppliers and subcontractors.
Create a new supply chain to meet client contract requirements.
Helping to support the Head of Procurement & Supply chain with a functional change programme, following a department restructure.
Ideal candidates will currently be working as a Procurement Manager or as a Senior Buyer with many years experience and ready for career progression.
Candidates must have at least 3 years experience managing any infrastructure or civil engineering related projects, for a reputable main contractor, tier 2 contractor or subcontractor.
Any highways experience would be preferable, however they are also happy to see candidates with rail, utilities, renewables or nuclear project experience.
Ideally you will have some experience of supply chain management or subcontractor procurement, however they are also happy to look at a dynamic senior material buyers who is looking to develop their careers into supply chain management.
