Procurement & Supply Chain Lead

A leading infrastructure contractor is looking for a Procurement & Supply Chain Lead to manage a portfolio of northern based infrastructure projects. You will:

• Develop and deliver an operational procurement and supply chain strategy for the region.
• Meet with senior internal stakeholders to manage their procurement requirements and ensure strategy compliance.
• Lead a medium sized project procurement team.
• Lead large value material and plant negotiations.
• Lead supply chain management activities with key suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ensure savings, rebates and compliance are achieved in line with group strategy.
• Support the Procurement Director with strategic improvements to the function.

A mixture of framework and project procurement across a portfolio of regional highways, rail and utilities projects.

Our client is looking for a Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Manager who has 10+ years experience with a medium to large infrastructure contractor.

You must have a strong understanding of infrastructure suppliers and subcontractors across the north… any hands on subcontract negotiation experience would be beneficial however not essential.

You must also have experience of managing small to medium sized procurement or supply chain teams.
