Procurement Lead

A leading main contractor is looking for a Procurement Lead to deliver a national procurement strategy for their Scotland business unit, you will:

• Set and deploy a national procurement strategy for the Scotland business unit.
• Manage and further develop a medium sized procurement team.
• Lead various strategic procurement and supply chain management initiatives.
• Manage internal stakeholder requirements up to board level.
• Support with subcontract procurement for high profile packages.

Managing a national portfolio of construction and infrastructure projects across Scotland for private and public sector clients.

You will be based across multiple regional offices across Scotland.

You will also manage national category agreements across subcontractors, suppliers, manufactures and distributors… together with supporting subcontract procurement for major projects.

Our client is looking for candidates with 5+ years experience leading project procurement for a main contractor across construction, infrastructure, energy, or oil and gas.

You will currently be working as a Senior Procurement Manager or experienced Procurement Manager who is looking for progression.

You will have a track record of successfully delivering project procurement strategies, together with managing small to medium sized operational buying teams.
