A Leading Construction Contractor is looking to recruit a Group Procurement Manager to lead a portfolio of direct and indirect categories.
The main objective of this role is to develop and deploy category strategies across your portfolio, achieving saving and rebate targets.
Key duties will include:
- Implement the procurement strategy for the direct and Indirect group spend
- Develop and implement process improvements
- Lead end to end tendering for assigned categories
- Build close working relationships with commercial and operational teams
- Ensure cost savings, rebates and compliance targets are achieved

They are keen to get an experienced procurement manager to help develop and deliver the group procurement strategy.
Responsible for implementing procurement and supply chain process and system improvements for the group.
You will be managing the full end to end tendering of multiple different indirect categories from sourcing to contract award.
Ideally you will currently be working as a procurement or category manager within the built environment.
Must have recent experience of setting and delivering categories strategies in either your current or past role.
Strong materials experience in construction would be desirable.
