Category Manager

A Regulated Industry Organisation is looking for two Category Managers to manage a varied selection of categories from cradle to grave.

The main objective of this role is to set and deploy a category strategy for the business.

You will;

• Write and present category strategies, running end to end tenders.
• Manage stakeholders internally, ensuring they are bought into the category strategy.
• Lead innovations across categories, running supplier workshops.
• Work with suppliers to help with sustainability, reduce times and improve safety.

Take control of the assigned category supply chains, building relationships and ensuring contract performance.

This is a highly visible role, where you will be continuously interfacing with senior management and directors to board level stakeholders.

You will have a demonstrable track record of successfully running a category plan from cradle to grave.

Minimum of 5+ year’s strategy category management experience from any industry.

Ideally you will currently be working as a Category Manager or an experienced Senior Category Manager who is looking for a fresh challenge.
