National Utilities Framework

A leading infrastructure contractor is looking for a Commercial Manager to join their team.

The main objective of the role is to manage a medium sized commercial team delivering the requirements for a major national utilities framework.

Key duties will include:

  • Design and implement commercial strategies for projects and tenders.
  • Manage a medium sized commercial team, ensuring contracts are administered correctly in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end commercial processes and requirements of the framework contract.
  • Collate, analyse, and challenge CVRs and forecasts, implementing actions as required.
  • Ultimate responsibility for all subcontractor management, assessing and driving their performance.
  • Develop and implement processes to increase contract accuracy and efficiency.
  • Attend handover and progress meetings with the client.

Managing director level stakeholder relationships across the company, as well as interfacing with clients and regional project teams.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum of 10+ years' commercial experience delivering large projects or frameworks.

Our client is looking for Commercial Managers looking for a career move. They are also keen to see experienced Managing / Senior Quantity Surveyors looking for career progression with experience of managing small-medium sized teams.

Demonstrable track record of successfully delivering commercial strategies for frameworks or projects.

Must have experience of leading and developing small-medium sized commercial teams.

Must have experience and strong understanding of NEC4 contracts.

Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and clients.
