You will be part of a large company and department transformation, which is currently undergoing the largest investment programme in the past 150 years.
You will be working for a stable, well funded regulated industry organisation who have a pipeline of work well into the 2030s.
Various categories available to manage across directs, indirects, corporate services and IT.
Category Managers are responsible for a portfolio of categories and also a business sector.
Category spends range from £10m to £100m+ per annum.
Full support and guidance provided at Category Manager level, category plan templates are provided.
No direct reports.
You will currently be working as a category manager looking for a new challenge, or as an experienced category buyer who is looking for career progression.
Ideally, you will have 3+ years’ strategy category management experience from any industry; however, they are also open to seeing candidates with less experience due to the training and support that is provided.
You must have a demonstrable track record of successfully creating category plans and running complex or high-profile tenders from cradle to grave.
