Procurement Manager

A Leading Infrastructure Contractor is looking for a Procurement manager to work across one of there midlands offices;

The main objective of this role is to lead the subcontract & materials negotiation for a large energy project, you will:

• Manage the day to day procurement of materials and subcontracts for the project.
• Negotiate major materials and manage the tender process for subcontract packages.
• Defining and implementing procurement processes and procedures.
• Managing stakeholder requirements, building strong relationships with operations and commercial.

You will be working on a high profile energy project across the UK.

This role will be mainly subcontract procurement and some material packages across a range of civil and M&E categories.

You will be working closely with the supply chain to help improve sustainability and promote safety.

Our Client is looking for someone with over 5 years experience with subcontract procurement, failing that they would consider candidates with strong material procurement experience from any main contractor,

You will have strong NEC experience across the civil engineering sector for any main contractor.
