Procurement Manager

A leading mechanical and electrical contractor is looking for a Procurement Manager to support the delivery of regional projects across the midlands, you will:

• Deliver the project procurement M&E strategy for large public sector framework.
• Lead materials procurement negotiations, identifying leveraging and synergy opportunities.
• Manage a small team of operational buyers.
• Deliver the requirements of senior project stakeholders.
• Achieve saving and rebate targets.

Responsible for a £250m MEP spend within this national business unit.

Working on a range of projects from mix use to large commercial works across both public and private sector clients.

Must have recent experience of assisting or leading MEP projects.

5 years+ procurement materials and / or subcontract packages experience.

Ideally you will currently be working as a Senior Buyer, or an experienced Procurement Manager who is looking for progression from any MEP contractor.
