Procurement Manager

A leading infrastructure contractor is looking for a Group Procurement Manager to deliver a national procurement strategy, you will:

• Set and deploy a national procurement strategy for group direct and indirect materials and services
• Directly manage and further develop a medium sized procurement team
• Indirectly manage large buying teams across national projects and frameworks
• Lead various strategic procurement and category management initiatives
• Lead supply chain prequalification and performance management of key suppliers
• Manage internal stakeholder requirements up to board level

Managing a national portfolio of group direct and indirect materials and services.

Lead a medium size procurement team who manage 35+ national agreements and transactional procurement services for projects.

Our client is looking for candidates with 5+ years strategic procurement experience.

You will currently be working as a Procurement / Category / Supply Chain Manager for a medium to large main contractor from any sector of construction of infrastructure.

You will have a track record or successfully delivering contract savings and influencing stakeholders to adopt procurement agreements and policies.
