A leading Cost Consultancy is looking for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team based along the M4 Corridor.

The main objective of the role is to deliver commercial and contract management services for an assigned regulated client.

You will:
- Deliver contract management throughout the lifecycle of client’s construction or infrastructure projects.
- Advise client Project Managers on NEC contractual matters.
- Support the post contract administration of NEC contracts, early warnings, compensation events and defects for live projects.
- Support the pre contract creation of NEC contracts, tendering documentation and procurement strategies for new projects.
- Monitor and report on the commercial position for your projects.
- Support Associate Directors to ensure that your client receives a first class service.
- Ensure projects are compliant with contractual terms and achieves the client’s objectives.

Responsible for supporting the delivery of pre and post contract NEC administration expertise for a portfolio of regulated utilities clients based along the M4 Corridor.

Managing high profile construction or infrastructure projects for one of UK's leading regulated organisations.

Projects ranging from simple maintenance works to large one off major infrastructure upgrade projects to the client's site.

Candidate Requirements

Our client is looking for dynamic Intermediate, Trainee, Graduate, or Assistant Quantity Surveyors who are looking for a career move to a company that can offer strong career progression pathways.

You will have a minimum of 2 years' commercial experience delivering pre and/or post contract NEC contract administration for projects, with experience of managing early warnings, compensation events and defects for live projects.

Must have experience of delivering NEC contracts for any consultancy, client organisation, main contractor or subcontractor.

You will have client facing experience with the ability to offer advice and guidance to senior stakeholders on complex commercial matters.

Relevant quantity surveying or commercial management degree.
