Buyer

A leading infrastructure contractor is looking for a Buyer to lead material procurement for a various civils works, you will:

• Support a Procurement Manager in delivering various regional infrastructure projects.
• Procure major material packages.
• Meet with operational teams and deliver their buying requirements.
• Propose supply chain improvements and initiatives.
• Ensure savings, rebates and compliance are achieved in line with project strategy.

A mix of defence and highways projects across the North.

Our client is looking for candidates with 3+ years procurement infrastructure experience.

You will be working as an assistant buyer or buyer for a medium to large infrastructure contractor.

Ideally you will have strong infrastructure project experience however they are also happy to consider candidates with strong construction or merchant material background.
