Sourcing Specialist

A leading engineering manufacturer is looking for a Sourcing Specialist to deliver a national category strategy for a portfolio of direct materials, you will:

• Manage the end to end category management process for a portfolio of direct materials.
• Deliver category plans, managing RFI, RFP, negotiation, recommendation to award.
• Deliver contract / performance improvement and supplier relationship management objectives.
• Achieve savings, rebates and compliance targets.

Managing a global supply base of plastics and rubbers to support various UK based manufacturing facilities.

Our client is looking for strategic buyers, category buyers or sourcing specialists who have experience buying direct materials for manufacture.

You will have experience of delivering category plans and sourcing materials from UK, Europe and ideally the Far East.
