Senior Buyer & Buyer

A leading infrastructure contractor is looking for a Senior Buyer and Buyer to lead subcontract procurement for a regional rail framework, you will:

• Manage the tender process for subcontract packages.
• Procure major material packages.
• Meet with operational teams and deliver their buying requirements.
• Ensure savings, rebates and compliance are achieved in line with project strategy.

You will be supporting various commercial teams to deliver a regional rail framework for Network Rail.

Our client is looking for Senior Buyers or experienced Buyers who have at least 2 years civil engineering subcontract experience.

You will be working for a main contractor and have successfully delivered regional infrastructure projects across rail, highways or utilities.

Ideally you will have infrastructure project experience however they are also happy to consider candidates with construction project experience.
