Senior Buyer

A leading infrastructure contractor is looking for a Senior Buyer to join their team and help support on a major nuclear project.

Main duties will include:

• Supporting a Procurement Manager in delivering various project procurement strategies.
• Managing the day to day project procurement of materials and subcontracts.
• Negotiating major material packages.
• Managing the tender process for subcontract packages.
• Working with project teams to deliver procurement requirements.
• Ensuring savings, rebates and compliance are achieved in line with project strategies.

Supporting a major nuclear project by managing the end-to-end procurement activities for the sourcing of a variety of packages.

Minimum of 2 years' subcontract procurement experience from any main contractor.

Ideally, you will currently be working as a Senior Buyer, or an experienced Buyer looking for progression.

Demonstrable track record of managing the tender process for subcontract and/or material packages.
