Reason for vacancy
  • New role to provide proof of concept for dedicated category managers as part a new procurement strategy.
Key responsibilities
  • Creation and delivery of category plans across a portfolio of interiors related materials.
Prospective candidate pool
  • Strategic procurement professionals working for a reputable medium to large contractor or subcontractor, who can commute weekly to Solihull.
Candidate experience
  • Exceptional strategic procurement and stakeholder management experience as this was a greenfield opportunity, with a strong understanding of the interiors supply chain.
Particular challenge
  • Dentifying candidates with the right blend of supply chain knowledge and a track record of strategically managing categories.
