Supply Chain Manager – Scotland

A leading Infrastructure contractor is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to develop and deploy the company’s supply chain strategy for Scotland, you will:

  • Work with key stakeholders to embed the regional supply chain strategy.
  • Support regional work winning activities.
  • Ensure cost savings, rebates and compliance targets are achieved.
  • Support the Procurement & Supply Chain Director to embed new regional group strategies.

Project / Category Details

A wide variety of infrastructure projects throughout Scotland, mainly rail, highways and marine focused.

You will be managing a mixture of projects and frameworks for high profile private and public sector clients such as Network Rail, National Highways and Scotland Canals.

Candidate Requirements

Our client is looking for strategic procurement professionals from any infrastructure or construction contractor, who have experience of procuring subcontracts and / or materials.

Ideally, you will be a Supply Chain Manager or Strategic Procurement Manager, they are also open to experienced Senior Buyers looking for career progression.

Subcontractor procurement or supply chain management experience is desirable, however, not essential as the commercial team are responsible for negotiating and placing subcontract orders.
