Senior Quantity Surveyor – JCT Contract Specialist

A leading construction contractor is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage a portfolio of JCT contracts for national construction projects, you will:

Support subcontractor approvals for small to medium subcontract packages.
Review JCT / NEC contract documents providing best practice advice and guidance.
Review and issue subcontract order approvals, ensuring they meet company standards.
Ensure subcontract orders have been signed correctly and process for payments.
Liaise with project teams to resolve issues with returned subcontract orders.
Provide administration support, such as credit checks and Constructionline / Achilles accreditations.

Candidate Requirements

Our client is looking for experienced quantity surveying and commercial professionals who have a strong understanding JCT contracts.

You’ll have many years’ experience working for any medium to large construction contractor, and you will have strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to push back and challenge colleagues to ensure internal processes are effectively followed.
