Quantity Surveyor

A leading regulated infrastructure contractor is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to implement commercial and procurement strategies across a portfolio of capex projects and maintenance contracts across the North, you will:

• Assist pre contract teams with cost estimates for new regional projects and frameworks.
• Assist post contract commercial management for live regional projects and frameworks.
• Assist the negotiating, appointment, and management of subcontractors.
• Assist the negotiation of change events, extension of time claims and preparation of final accounts.
• Assist with subcontractor payments and reporting.

Support the delivery of a Utilities Framework across the Northern Region.

Our client is looking for an intermediate Quantity Surveyor or an Assistant QS who has experience of managing their own projects and is looking for progression.

Ideally you will have strong utilities (power, gas, water) project experience for a leading contractor, subcontractor, or cost consultancy, however our client is also happy to see candidates with rail, highways, oil & gas, or renewables project experience.
