Project Procurement Managers

A leading infrastructure contractor is looking for two Project Procurement Leads to develop and deliver a project procurement strategy for a new highways project, you will:

• Lead end to end subcontract procurement.
• Manage major material procurement with key suppliers.
• Ensure stakeholders are following procurement strategies and policies.
• Significant internal stakeholder management with operational teams.
• Achieve cost reduction and project profitability targets. 

Leading the procurement for new highways projects worth £200-500m, based across the Northern Home Counties or East Anglia for National Highways.

Candidates will be able to travel to Norwich or Bedford 2-3 days a week.

You will create the project procurement strategy and set the individual package strategies for all key subcontract trades for your assigned project.

Our client is looking for Senior Procurement Managers with 10+ years subcontract procurement experience from any main contractor… They will also consider Procurement Managers with 5+ years subcontract procurement experience who are looking for progression.

You will have strong end to end subcontract procurement experience, with a track record of creating project procurement strategies.

You will have delivered projects across infrastructure, construction, MEP or FM for any reputable contractor.

Our client would also consider candidates who are managing subcontract Procurement from any large public sector or regulated organisation, looking for a new challenge.
