A leading M&E contractor is looking for a Procurement Officer to join the Procurement team on a fixed term, maternity leave cover contract.

You'll be working for a global construction PLC, in a large procurement function, where you will have the opportunity to apply for relevant permanent jobs when they become available.
You'll be managing a wide variety of indirect categories across multiple UK sites.
Managing senior stakeholders national indirect procurement requirements.
Part of a 50+ national procurement team who manage £1bn+ UK spend per annum.
Demonstrable track record of successfully deploying direct or indirect category strategies.
Minimum of 1+ year’s strategy procurement experience for any large complex company.
Ideally you will currently be working as a Strategy / Category Buyer, or an experienced Assistant Buyer who is looking for progression.
Strong negotiation, supplier management and communication skills.
Relevant degree or CIPS is desirable.
