Procurement Manager

A leading housebuilder is looking for a procurement manager to manage to deliver a national procurement strategy, you will:

• Work closely with the Commercial Director to drive value from existing suppliers, improve quality and reduce cost.
• Deliver the procurement strategy in line with business requirements.
• Work alongside other departments in the Regional Business Unit to advise on costs and delivery of materials on a site-by-site basis.
• Sourcing new suppliers and implementing supplier performance reviews.
• Ensure savings, rebates and compliance are achieved in line with business strategy.

Working across regional construction plots in the UK.

Our client is looking for candidates with 5+ years procurement experience working for a main housebuilder.

You will currently be working as a Procurement Manager, Chief / Head Buyer for a medium to large house builder.

Ideally you will have some management experience however they are also happy to consider candidates without any direct management experience.

Should they struggle to identify the above candidate profile, they would be open to meeting Senior Buyers with 5+ years strategic procurement experience, again for a reputable house builder.
