Procurement Manager – Highways

A leading infrastructure contractor is looking for a Procurement Manager to support the delivery of regional Highways projects and frameworks, you will:

  • Deliver the procurement strategy for projects and frameworks
  • Manage the tender process for subcontract packages
  • Procure major materials
  • Meet with operational teams and deliver their buying requirements
  • Ensure savings, rebates and compliance are achieved in line with project strategy

Project / Category Details

Variety of highways projects and frameworks for local authorities and Highways England.

Ideally candidates will be able to support recent midlands-based project wins, however they can also accommodate candidates based within commuting distance or Manchester, Leeds and London.

Our client offers good flexible working options, so you’ll only be required to attend sites 2-3 days per week.

Candidate Requirements

Our client is looking for Procurement Managers or experienced Senior Buyers who have strong infrastructure subcontract procurement experience.

They are happy to look at candidates who can demonstrate successfully delivering highways, rail, or utilities projects for a main contractor.
