Procurement Manager

A leading infrastructure contractor is looking for a Procurement Manager to support civil subcontract procurement for a major rail project, you will:

• Deliver a project procurement strategy for all civil categories.
• Manage the tender process for civil subcontract packages.
• Negotiate and procure high value civil material and capital equipment packages.
• Deliver an effective procurement service to internal operational stakeholders.
• Ensure savings, rebates and compliance are achieved in line with project strategy.

Managing a portfolio of medium to large valued civil engineering and consultancy packages for a major rail project based in London.

Our client is looking for experienced procurement managers who have at least 5 years subcontract procurement experience for a reputable main infrastructure or construction contractor.

Ideally candidates will have strong civil engineering project experience, the client is also open to seeing candidates with construction project experience as full support and guidance will be provided.
