Procurement Coordinator

A leading infrastructure contractor is looking for a Procurement Coordinator to deliver the operational buying requirements for a newly won large capital framework, you will:

• Procure materials, plant, and other services for a large capital framework.
• Onboard new supplies and subcontractors.
• Carry out tendering for materials not covered by frameworks.
• Ensure procurement procedures are followed by project teams.
• Maintain supplier performance dashboards.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders.

Managing a newly awarded capital framework, managing a wide variety of projects across construction and civil engineering.

Projects range from £5m to £100m+.

This is a new 5 year framework that will likely be extended, offering good stability.

Our client is looking for candidates with 1+ years operational procurement experience.

You will currently be working as a Buyer or Assistant Buyer, operationally buyer materials or services for projects.

They are open to candidates working in any construction, engineering or manufacturing related industries.
