Procurement Category Manager

A leading mechanical and electrical contractor is looking for a category manager to manage a portfolio of mechanical categories, you will:

• Manage the end to end category management process for a portfolio of mechanical categories.
• Lead the end to end tendering with subcontractors and material suppliers.
• Prepare and deliver category plans.
• Manage internal stakeholder procurement requirements.
• Build and develop strong relationships with the supply chain.
• Support bid teams with category market intelligence.
• Ensure savings, rebates and compliance are achieved.

Managing a portfolio of subcontractors and capital equipment suppliers across the following mechanical categories:

• Heating and Cooling.
• Mechanical Pipework.
• Thermal Insulation.
• Boilers, Heat Exchangers, Coolers.

Our client is looking for experienced procurement professionals who are currently working for a mechanical and electrical contractor who have experience of mechanical subcontract procurement or category management.
