Procurement Business Partner – Subcontracts

A leading main contractor is looking for a Procurement Business Partner to develop and deliver a procurement strategy for a business unit, you will:

  • Develop and deliver a procurement strategy for a business unit
  • Procurement lead for the business unit and part of the senior leadership team
  • Manage the tender process for subcontract packages
  • Establish and manage direct category frameworks
  • Build strong relationships with senior internal stakeholders
  • Ensure operational and commercial teams are following procurement processes
  • Ensure savings, rebates and compliance are achieved in line with project strategy

Project / Category Details

Negotiating subcontract and category management agreements across all direct business unit activities.

Key categories include capex, maintenance, facilities and site services.

Candidate Requirements

Our client is looking for experienced subcontract procurement professional who have managed projects across any sector of construction.

You will be working as a Senior Buyer or Procurement Manager with experience of running subcontract tenders and a track record of successfully influencing senior internal stakeholders.

They are happy to look at candidates from main contractors, house builders or facilities services contractors.
