Head of Category Management – IT & Professional Services

A leading public sector organisation is looking for a Head of Category Management to create a multi year category strategy for a portfolio of IT and professional services contracts, you will:

  • Create and deliver a category management strategy for corporate services.
  • Ensure all strategies and agreements are effectively implemented and compliant with European Union (OJEU) and Public Contract Regulations.
  • Lead and develop a large corporate services category management team.
  • Ensure function objectives are achieved including value creation, cost reduction, compliance and governance, relationship and performance management.
  • Significant stakeholder management to the c-suite and department leaders.

Developing a large category management team who manage complex IT and professional services contracts.

Candidate Requirements

Our client is looking for an experienced Head of Category or a Senior Category / Procurement Manager looking for career development, with strong IT and ideally professional services contract experience.

You will have experience of creating multi year category strategies for a large complex PLC or public sector organisation.

You will have strong team management experience with a track record of delivering c-suite / director level requirements.
