A leading infrastructure contractor is looking for a Commercial Manager.
The main objective of the role is to commercially manage a portfolio of maintenance and minor works framework projects.
Key duties will include:
- Manage the contractual and financial elements of projects undertaken by the business unit.
- Provide monthly forecasts and business reports and presenting these to senior stakeholders.
- Provide commercial contract evaluation for bids.
- Management of a small-medium sized commercial team.
- Establish and chair monthly project reviews.
- Manage CVRs, payment applications and invoicing.
Responsible for a portfolio of maintenance and minor works projects as part of a framework covering the London and East Anglia areas on behalf of a public sector energy provider.
Projects range from Hard FM maintenance works, to minor civil engineering, construction, and electrical works.
You will lead the commercial team in a fast-paced, multi-project low value, high volume environment. Projects will range in value from £50k - £1m.
Minimum of 5 years' experience managing all commercial aspects for projects in a hard FM, MEP, construction, or civil engineering environment.
Ideally you will currently be working as a Commercial Manager and looking for a career move. Our client is also interested in speaking to experienced Managing or Senior Quantity Surveyors looking for a career progression opportunity.
Must have experience of managing small commercial teams on projects.
Experience of working in a fast-paced, multi-project maintenance framework environment is desirable.
Relevant degree in commercial management or quantity surveying is desirable.
