Category Specialist – Highways

A leading infrastructure services contractor is looking for a category specialist to help deliver major highways projects for the business unit, you will:

  • Develop and deliver category plans, identify leveraging and synergy opportunities for the business
  • Manage the tender process
  • Lead supply chain management activities, resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Support with compliance, governance and providing a benchmark for procurement standards.

Project / Category Details

You will be supporting various procurement highways and minor civils projects across the UK.

Candidate Requirements

Our client is looking for candidates with 2+ years procurement buying experience, who have lead or assisted with tendering of subcontract services.

Ideally you will have infrastructure experience however they are also happy to consider candidates with facilities management or M&E experience.
