Buyer & Assistant Buyer – Regional Projects

A leading construction contractor is looking for a Buyer and Assistant Buyer to support Procurement Managers with operational procurement requirements for regional projects, duties will include:

– Support operational teams with procurement requirements

– Procure major materials

– Manage the tender process for subcontract packages (Full training provided)

– Ensure savings, rebates and compliance are achieved in line with project strategy

Project / Category Details

Various construction and civil engineering projects throughout the South East. 

Candidate Requirements

Our client is happy to look at Assistant Buyers who are looking for career progression or Buyers who are looking for a career move.

You will be working for any medium to large construction or infrastructure contractor.

Subcontract procurement experience would be beneficial however not essential as they are open to interviewing good material buyers who are interested in learning subcontract procurement.
