A leading construction contractor is looking for a regional Business Development Manager to manage client relationships and drive business development across regional public sector clients, you will:
You’ll be managing a portfolio of public sector clients across the west, mainly focused around the West Midlands and also including Cheshire and Worcestershire regions.
You’ll be offering a wide selection of new build and refurbishment projects across construction, civil engineering and consultancy sectors to many different public sector organisations.
You will be responsible for managing the end to end sales cycle from bidding, mobilising and then the ongoing management of live projects.
This role involves a mixture of both new business and relationship management activities across your client network.
Our client is looking for Business Development Managers who have a proven track record of winning new and developing existing clients… they will also consider Account Managers who can demonstrate consistently winning new business.
You will have 3-5 years’ experience selling into construction or the public sector.
You’ll be able to demonstrate good examples of when you’ve developed client relationship to become a long term supplier.
To be successful in this position you will have a positive, proactive approach with high levels of drive and a willingness to learn.
